You stay the night in the garden room, situated in a quiet neighbourhood, on the edge of the Noorderplantsoen (English style public gardens). The home of artist Geertje van Zijpp, Court Hengeveld, Jelle and Sam was built in 1924 and is very colorful, has many authentic details and you will find many beautiful paintings made by Geertje on the walls. We offer our guests a private bathroom with shower and toilet and a kitchenette for making coffee and tea. Breakfast is served in the snug breakfast room overlooking the garden. The family lives upstairs which means a lot of privacy for our guests downstairs. The old centre of Groningen is only 5 walking minutes from our (walking trail). Places of interest: home are: Het Groninger Museum, Hortus Haren/ Chinese garden and the Pieterpad. Groningen is an excellent city for shopping and has many restaurants and bars. Welcome to Groningen!
