The host was extremely friendly, he was open to answer every question and gave some great hints to us. The room was nice and cosy, and like the shared bathroom very clean. The highlight was the roof terrace. Also the center was accesible by foot in about 15 minutes.

The host was extremely friendly, he was open to answer every question and gave some great hints to us. The room was nice and cosy, and like the shared bathroom very clean. The highlight was the roof terrace. Also the center was accesible by foot in about 15 minutes.

Alles in allem war es eine sehr schöne Erfahrung, weil Michael sehr viel mit uns erzählte und man dadurch recht viel über Gepflogenheiten der Niederländer erfuhr! Absolut weiter zu empfehlen!

Großes Zimmer mit praktisch eigenem Bad, Dachterrasse und eigenem Zugang zum Treppenhaus. Das Bett ist sehr gemütlich und ebenfalls sehr sauber. Der Service ist super. The surroundings are very lively with shops, restaurants and a beautiful park. It is 15 minutes far (by foot) from the centre. The tram stop is just 100 m.

Michael nous a tres bien recus. Son appartement est joli, ainsi que la chambre, qui donne sur l'arriere, tres calme. Le centre est proche a pied pour les courageux ou par tram. Son quartier est tres sympa et vivant. Le pain et les gateaux du petit dejeuner sont en partie fait maison.

At best take the train to Amsterdam or don't plan to use the car during the holiday : free parking is 30' to 45' away y foot + tram. (or you can pay 18euros /day to park near the flat). That's what you get for being so near the centre of town though so no surprise...
Mieux vaux prendre le Thalys et eviter la voiture: les places gratuites sont a presque 45 minutes en tram + a pied. Ou vous pouvez vous garer dans le quartier pour 18 euros / jour. Mais c'est normal en etant si proche du centre ville.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par un hôte chaleureux et attentionné. L'appartement est vraiment agréable. Nous avons aussi particulièrement apprécié les cakes faits maison servis au petit déjeuner.
En résumé : une adresse à recommander vivement !

Un seul tout petit bémol : l'appartement est au 3ème étage et l'escalier qui y mène plutôt raide (mais c'est peut-être souvent le cas à Amsterdam!).
Par ailleurs, l'appartement est un peu excentré mais ce n'est pas un problème car le tram passe tout près.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par un hôte chaleureux et attentionné. L'appartement est vraiment agréable. Nous avons aussi particulièrement apprécié les cakes faits maison servis au petit déjeuner.
En résumé : une adresse à recommander vivement !

Un seul tout petit bémol : l'appartement est au 3ème étage et l'escalier qui y mène plutôt raide (mais c'est peut-être souvent le cas à Amsterdam!).
Par ailleurs, l'appartement est un peu excentré mais ce n'est pas un problème car le tram passe tout près.

The room is also enough large if you plan to stay more than a week, there's room for luggages and clothes and everything. The place is not in the most typical Amsterdam neighboorhood but the situation is quite nice, and it's also near the center and the central station, which can be accessed afoot.
