Akkrum is a village with just over 3000 inhabitants, situated in the watery centre of the province of Friesland. Easily to be reached by the A32. From the central station a train leaves every hour in the direction of Zwolle/Amersfoort and Leeuwarden. Akkrum is connected to the Friese merengebied by water. The small Boorne River meanders through the village. Our home, with small yacht harbour, is located at the border of the village, on 5 minutes walking distance from the centre. At the front of the home we overlook the grazing land and at the back is the Polsloot. This water connects Akkrum with the Sneekermeer. We have a bike shed with a key for our guests. Use of bikes is free.
Small motor boats are for rent.
Breakfast is served on the room or on the terrace.

We zijn hartelijk ontvangen door mevrouw De Wit. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. We hebben genoten van de kamer met keukentje en prima sanitair, en konden ook nog buiten zitten. Wat wil een mens nog meer?

onbijt is zeer aan de ruime kant

mischien een huistelefoon
om even te laten weten waneer het onbijt komt
of om op de kamer te komen

Voor mij was het verblijf in bed & brochje De Wit in één woord uitstekend. De ontvangst was allerhartelijkst en de bedden zijn beter dan bij mij thuis. Elke dag waren er verse broodjes van de warme bakker en met mijn notarisboot kon ik bijna aanleggen bij de deur van het appartement. Het appartement en de omgeving zijn ook zeker een aanrader, zoals Grou en Terherne. Ik kom zeker nog een keer terug en nogmaals bedankt voor de gastvrijheid !

ruim ontbijt; tijdstip bespreekbaar en zelfs lunchzakjes geleverd erbij

inventaris appartement erg ruim gesorteerd

op zondag minder service en later tijdstip ontbijt mogelijk

we hebben een week overnacht; ontbijt wordt ietwat eentonig dan

ligging is op een industrie getint terrein, geen uitzicht, voor ons prima want het was een overblijf dichtbij de jachthaven

inrichting appartement is erg gedateerd

Dit overtrof onze verwachtingen. We waren hier 5 nachten. Veel ruimte, schoon, keuken goed uitgerust,goede douche, heerlijke bedden, fietsen zonder extra kosten. Ligging bij weilanden en op loopafstand van dorpscentrum, je kunt er goed vissen. Verder een prima ontbijt en een goede verzorging door mevrouw de Wit. Kortom een aanrader.
