Truly a unique location in the historical centre of Amsterdam near the canals! The apartment is located in the souterrain of a (luxurious) restored building from the 17th century in the middle of the historical centre of Amsterdam. On short walking distance you find many places of interest: the canals, Anne Frank House, the Royal Palace on Dam Square, Madame Tussaud's, the Old Harbour, the 17th century Jordaan area, etc. In the village-like area you find many shops, food shops, restaurants and authentic café's.
The apartment has its own (historical!) entrance, and: nice SITTING/SLEEPING ROOM(teak wooden floor), large wardrobe, TV and DVD player, safe deposit box; a separate KITCHENETTE with fridge (daily fresh breadrolls, all sorts of cheese/jam/meat, coffee/tea/drinks and snacks, etc); very luxurious BATHROOM with underfloor heating and double wash basin, shower, toilet.
Minimum stay: 2 nights.

Het was een zeer aangenaam verblijf in deze B eb B: een goede ontvangst met een glaasje champagne op de kamer, fruit en iets zoets. De koelkast was goed gevuld.
Zowel de kamer als de grote badkamer ( met douche en ligbad, waren mooi schoon. Er lagen handdoeken met washandjes en badslippers klaar; in de grote kast stonden zelfs 2 paraplu's ingeval van slecht weer.Aan alles was gedacht.
De gastheer en vrouw waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Kortom: een plek om naar terug te gaan.

We had really nice days in Amsterdam. The location of the b+b is great: the Centraal station is close by, the Stop/Go-Bus stops in the street and the shopping area of the Haarlemmerstraat is around the corner, but at the same time its very quiet and you can hear nothing but the church bells. The owners are very friendly and helpfull people and you get everything you need and much more (fresh flowers, fruits, beer and a big lollipop for Ruby ... thank you, Monique). The fridge is filled every day. We used both rooms which made it very comfortable for the three of us. Thanks a lot!

This is a wonderful place to stay - very personal with special touches and care. The area is delightful and the rooms are well equipped. Lovely bath, super shower, great food for breakfast. I will certainly return and recommend.
