A quiet room at the house of a painter, on the east site of the centre with an ecxellent boxspring bed. The room has been redecorated and you sleep in between paintings. Breakfast is in the room. Deer, sheep, or cows and birds make you feel like in the countryside, in the middle of Amsterdam! The paintings are also for sale.
Most of the time you will find information about the musea and exhibitions in town.

The appartment is on the second floor, no elevator. The neighbourhood is very quiet at night. Situated close to the Scheepvaartmuseum (ships and sea history) also to the Tropenmuseum (colonial museum), Jewisch museum and the NEMO, as well as the ZOO.
Also the new musicbuilding at the IJ and the BIMhuis (jazz) are easy to walk. All the other musea can be reached by tram or bus. Cultural lovers are very welcome!
There is Wifi in the room.

These prices are for 1 night stay. It is cheaper to stay more nights. The bed mesures 140 X 200cm, so may not be suitable for all couples! Very good for cultural visitors. Room in the center near musea, also very near the new musicbuilding/Bimhuis.

Positive Experiences
Lisebet is a very nice host. The breakfast is nice and abundant. Location is only two stops followed by 5 min walking from central station. Quiet neighborhood.

For improvement
The bed and the pillow are too soft for me. A little cold. I did't sleep well because of itchy legs. Maybe allergic to something.

sehr nette und freundliche bewirtung. vom bahnhof central station zu fuss ca. 25 minuten. so nah beim zentrum und doch ausserordentlich ruhig gelegen. frühstück liebevoll zubereitet. alles in allem: sehr empfehlenswert.

Vriendelijke gastvrouw, lekker ontbijt en een mooie kamer. Rustige buurt op loopafstand van Stopera. Kamer is groot genoeg om ook overdag even heerlijk op bed te kunnen liggen.

For improvement
B&B is bij Liesbet in huis, wel iets om rekening mee te houden.

Liesbet est très acceuillante et saura répondre à toutes vos questions (en anglais).
La chambre est agréable, avec un lit double, une table, deux chaises et une tv.
Elle donne sur des jardins, c'est très calme et à 100m d'un cannal. C'est dans un petit immeuble tout simple au 2e étage.
Tout est très propre, sont fournies : gants de toilettes et serviettes.
20/25min a pied du centre ou 10min en prennant le bus ou le tram (2 arrrets de Central Station).
Les petits dej sont parfaits pour entamer la journée, c'est presque un brunch !

Prettige en vriendelijke ontvangst. Kamer is prima, goed bed, schoon, rustige plek. Ligging overigens afhankelijk waar je moet zijn in A'dam.
