The historical houseboat B&B LE MAROXIDIEN is located in the centre of Amsterdam, on Prins Hendrikkade 534, between Central Station and the Scheepvaart Museum.
My aim is to provide you an unforgettable stay. Not only the location and the interior, but also the service will enchant and inspire you.
In the morning I will serve you a divine organic breakfast in the dining room.
My household will be environmentally-friendly. Ecologic cleanser, energy-saving lamps, and other energy savers will be a part of it.
It is the ideal starting place for your visit and within walking distance of the Nieuwe Markt, Waterlooplein, the Palace on the Dam, and various restaurants, cafés, concerthouses and theatres.
All means of public transport (bus, tram, train, underground) are close by the B&B.
You are welcome throughout the whole year.

Wij vonden het geen hartelijk onthaal.
Na de overnachting (bij bv het ontbijt) ook geen "hebt je lekker geslapen" of een gezellige babbel.

Midden in Amsterdam vlak bij het centraal station waar je drukte en geluid verwacht ligt in alle rust de mooie B&B Le Maroxidien.Een vrachtschip dat op schitterende wijze is verbouwd en waar je je waant in een andere wereld.
De charmante gastvrouw ontvangt je met een lach en laat je de kamer zien. Op de boot is het verrassend lekker warm dit hadden we niet direct verwacht! Een dienblad met de mogelijkheid om koffie of thee te zetten en een koekje te eten staat klaar, gastvrijheid staat hoog in het vaandel!
Het ontbijt is heerlijk met zelfgemaakte vruchtensap en breadspread. De vleeswaren, kaas, jam en honing zijn biologische producten.
De volgende dag niet hetzelfde sapje maar een ander waar de inhoud zich niet altijd makkelijk laat raden. Als wij de gastvrouw vragen of zij nog tips heeft om ons bezoek aan Amsterdam nog leuker te maken laat zij blijken dat ze Amsterdam goed kent en komt met leuke ideeen.
Kortom , indien je Amsterdam wil bezoeken en er op een unieke, verrassende manier wil verblijven is B&B Le Maroxidien een aanrader!

We absolutely loved it! Kathrin was charming, the organic breakfast heavenly, the whole boat was beautifully decorated, we stayed in room Morocco, we slept like little baby's, very good beds, nice and clean bathrooms, B&B well positioned nearby city center!

Tolle ruhige Lage obwohl mitten in der Stadt. Eine typischere Amsterdam Unterkunft als diese kann ich mir nicht vorstellen. Gutes Frühstück.Rundum eine sehr schöne Erfahrung. Werde auch in Zukunft sicher gerne wieder hier schlafen und dieses B&B auch weiter empfehlen.

Mooi en sfeervol ingericht. Aardige mevrouw van de B&B. Lekker ontbij t en leuke omgeving.

er is geen gordijn door het raam in het dak, maar daardoor wordt je snel wakker door het licht in de kamer. net wanneer je een keer kunt uitslapen.
