Met een fraai zicht op de Es, op 500 meter vanaf het Balloerveld, bevindt zich onze Bed and Breakfast gelegen aan vele fietsroutes en vrijwel aan het Pieterpad.
De naast de boerderij gelegen schuur heeft 2 rookvrije kamers, ieder met een badkamer voorzien van douche, wastafel en toilet. In overleg kan gebruik gemaakt worden van het zwembad (4x8 m).
In 2010 is de schuur verbouwd waardoor de kamers mooi en comfortabel zijn. De inrichting is compleet nieuw en is voorzien van 2 persoons boxspring, TV/DVD-speler, koelkast, senseo en waterkoker. Het ontbijt wordt op de kamer of buiten op het terras genoten.

Positive Experiences
BB Balloo ligt gewoon ideaal. De Drenthse Aa is een uitzonderlijk gebied en het dorpje Balloo zelf met het dorpszicht zelf, het Balloërveld, maar ook de nabijheid van Assen biedt de bezoeker alle mogelijkheden. Ook de locatie van B&B, alsook de kamer zijn zeer goed. Geen slecht woord over te bedenken.

For improvement
Een detail en twee toch meer fundamentele punten:
1. het is aangenaam om bij de douche te beschikken over wat grotere handdoeken
2. de beschikbare informatie over de streek is summier en dat terwijl de Drenthse Aa zo geweldig mooi, rijk aan natuur en erfgoed en zo boeiend voor de toerist is. Meer fierheid om en meer kennis over de eigen streek zou de toerist erg verder helpen.
3. Het voorkomen van verspilling bij het ontbijt is lovenswaardig, maar daar staat tegenover dat je vooraf al moet weten waar je de volgende ochtend zin zal in hebben. Daarbij is het Albert Heyn - gehalte van de producten een tegenvaller. In een streek als de Drenthse Aa moeten toch streekproducten van hogere kwaliteit te vinden zijn.
