Bemmel is centrally located between Arnhem and Nijmegen, near the nature reserve Geldersepoort. It is a great base for exploring the area. From here the two interesting cities are very easy accessible by either car or bus. To Nijmegen you can take a nice bike ride or you can walk along the dike.
La Historia is located in the historic heart of the charming village. There are busstops, shops and restaurants a short walk away. There is free parking in the street and from the b&b you can easily walk or cycle to the floodplain.
The b&b offers a room with private bathroom on the ground floor. The cosy room is modern and comfortable, with a nod to yesteryear. Coffee- and teafacilities are available in the room. Upon request, the double bed can be split into two singles. Breakfast will be served in the room or when the weather is nice in the garden. From the room you will be able to look at the park around a castle: a nice place to sit on a bench enjoying the evening sun.

Mooi gelegen in een prachtig gerestaureerd oud pand aan het historische dorpsplein. Stijlvol ingerichte kamer met aandacht voor de verzorging van de inwendige en uitwendige mens. Verse bloemen op tafel. Warme ontvangst. De volgende morgen een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt op de kamer met warme broodjes en alles waar ik maar behoefte aan zou kunnen hebben. Prachtige design badkamer met vloerverwarming. Ik voelde mij helemaal verwent.

De douche geeft een zwakke straal water.

La Historia is truly a lovely B&B. It is run by a wonderful couple, who immediately made me feel at home. I had the great fortune of dining with them for both dinner and breakfast. The food was homecooked and AMAZING and the conversation was perfect! I think they should create a cookbook to offer to the guests! The room was new, sophisticated, yet very cozy and comfortable. I was excited to feel that the floor in the bathroom was heated and that the water pressure in the shower was strong! These things are important to a traveler! ;) I highly reccommend La Historia to anyone who is looking to enhance their traveling experience with a touch of home.
