Prima appartement, eigen entree, huiskamer met mogelijkheid zelf te koken, boven heerlijke bedden en douche/toilet.
Aardige gastvrouw die een heerlijk ontbijt kwam brengen. Top!

fantastische ligging voor een geweldige schaatstocht over de beulakerwieden en omgeving. enige nadeep was de niet comfortabele slaapbank, aangezien wij met 4 in een 2 persoonsappartement sliepen. ontbijtje was heerlijk. En Blokzijl is schattig. cafr sluiszicht is nu omgetoverd tot schaatscafe,erg sfeervol en het ijs is overal geveegd door de mensen van ijsclub Blokzijl.

Excellent accomodation. The benefit of a kitchenette with fridge and hob means a great saving on meals by self-catering. A great absse for exploring the countryside. BBC channel on the TV was a bonus..

For improvement
Improvements would be very minor indeed; thicker pillows and an extra bedisde table would be helpful

Recent deden we voor de dertiende keer onze voorjaarsvakantie doorbrengen bij Alie en Harrie van App. Westerhiof in Blokzijl. Wij dachten dat dat, alleen al overduidelijk illustreert hoe tevreden we zijn over hetgeen ons daar aangeboden word. Bij App. Westerhof is de gast nog steeds KONING, en staat gastvrijheid en gastvriendelijkheid hoog in het Vaandel en wordt het met GOUDEN LETTERS geschreven. Een uitstekende prijs/kwalitetsverhouding , de service en ideale ligging vlak aan de Havenkolk dicht bij het vakantiehapje en drankje sluiten daar perfect bij aan. Kortom App. Westerhof biedt een sterrenvakantie tegen nog betaalbare prijzen en is een aanrader voor de rust ruimte en natuurzoeker

Na een koude wandeling mochten we hier overnachten. We werden hartelijk en gastvrij ontvangen. Het appartement is prima in orde en de bedden sliepen uitstekend.

Ruime schone kamers: 2 k app, goed uitgerust op de nieuwe boxsprings(2.20 lang), compleet ontbijt.
Mooi gelegen in "oude" stadsgedeelte van Blokzijl.
