Slapen in een boomgaard.
Heerlijk logeren, midden in een honderd jaar oude hoogstamboomgaard: dat kan bij Pension De Appelgaard. De B&B ligt aan de rivier de Lek, verscholen achter de dijk en vlak bij het historische stadje Culemborg. De zes comfortabele gastenkamers liggen gelijkvloers en bevinden zich in de voormalige koeienstal. Een Betuws boerenontbijt met streekproducten, boerenbrood, fruit uit de boomgaard en kakelverse eieren van eigen appelgaard-kippen maken uw verblijf compleet.
En de omgeving? Wandel of stap op de fiets en volg de rivieren, de bloesem en ervaar het echte ‘even-helemaal-weg’-gevoel.

Wij hebben twee dagen doorgebracht in B&B de Appelgaerd in Culemborg met het Betuwe Buitenarrangement. Zodra de deur van het gastenverblijf opengaat proef je de sfeer en de gemoedelijkheid. De kamers zijn erg leuk ingericht, een fijn ontbijt staat klaar, een lekker diner in een leuk restaurant en een verzorgde lunch meegekregen. De gastvrouw Eveline is aardig en attent. Wat wil een mens nog meer voor een paar fijne dagen in het mooie Rivierenlandschap.

Loved the atmosphere of this bed and breakfast. It is located in a very beautiful area. The food was amazing and the owner are extremely nice. We will definitely be staying here again.

Heerlijk rustige bed en breakfast. De tuin is heerlijk. We hadden een kamer met een deur naar het terras en dat was erg fijn.

For improvement
We kregen in de ochtend na het ontbijt al de spullen voor het ontbijt van de volgende ochtend. Jammer.
Zelf je ontbijtspullen afwassen was nieuw, weet niet of dat erg was.

Heerlijke natuur en natuurlijk uitgebreid ontbijt met vriendelijke mensen. Gastvrijheid is TOP !

Wij hadden 2 kamers waarvan er 1 zonder TV was en dat was voor 1 van mijn vrienden niet zo prettig vooral als men helemaal alleen is.

Samen met mijn moeder er even tussen uit. Nou dat lukte prima op de Appelgaard met als gastvrouw Eveline! Complimenten voor alles...eten, verse appelsap, heerlijk brood/notenbrood, aardbeien, kersen, heerlijk rustig plekje en toch dicht bij centrum, leuke kamer, heerlijke tuin met "kiwi overkapping" om toch lekker biuiten te zitten met wat minder weer..eigenlijk teveel op op te noemen. We zeggen maar zo: Zou maar eens naar de Appelgaard gaan om zelft te ervaren hoe goed het daar is!

Van onbijt tot het slaapcomfort.Prachtige ligging Voor herhaling vatbaar.
O, ja de centrale keuken die iedereen mag gebruiken: ideaal!

Zeepbakje in de douche en haakjes voor de kleren enzo op te hangen bij toilet en douche maar dit zijn maar kleine punten die niet opwegen tegen de voordelen.
