Accommodation and prices:
In one of the coach houses, the first floor has been converted into a very spacious and beautiful guest apartment. (1 to 4 persons). It consists of two large double bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), one two persons sofa bed in the sitting room, a dining room with an open kitchen and a sitting room where the chairs are centred around the old log fire. The windows look out over the yard, the gardens and the fields. Next to the coach house is a pretty garden with a pond.
In the mornings, breakfast will be served in the dining room of the main house, “Huize Hessum”.

The B&B lies in the countryside on a dairy farm. The area is very beautiful and you can cycle and walk a lot.

Positive Experiences
Wij zijn ontzettend enthousiast. Mooi ingericht ruim appartement. Hele mooie omgeving. Je loopt zo vanuit het huis de bossen in. Vriendelijke ontvangst. We mochten kijken bij koeien melken etc.

Gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, we werden met open armen ontvangen.
We hebben een rondleiding gehad over het erf van de werkende boerderij en veel uitleg gehad van de gastheer. Ons ontbijt werd geserveerd in het herenhuis en was zeer uitgebreid en lekker. De bovenverdieping van het koetshuis waar we verbleven was boven verwachting goed.
het was groter dan de foto's doen vermoedden.
de haard was een echte sfeermaker in de zitkamer.

Al met al.... we hebben een HEERLIJK weekend achter de rug!
namens ons 3-en.... BEDANKT!

For improvement
-De vindbaarheid 's avonds.
(suggestie: een verlicht bordje)
-De vloerbedekking is niet prettig zonder schoeisel.
-Alleen via een trap bereikbaar.
-wij konden de blokjes voor de vaatwasser niet vinden, zijn deze wel aanwezig?

Een geweldige ervaring! De ruimte en luxe in het verblijf maakten evenveel indruk als de wijdse omgeving en het prachtige landgoed waarop we verbleven. Een absolute aanrader om er eens even helemaal uit te zijn.

Alles was tiptop verzorgd, schitterende locatie en mooie omgeving. Kortom een verblijf waar je heerlijk tot rust komt en kan genieten van de natuur, historie en de beestenboel.

We vonden het een zeer mooi en groot appartement in een koetshuis met eigen ingang, 2 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers, ruime zitkamer met TV en houtkachel en een eetkamer alles helemaal voor je eigen gezelschap, eigen tuin met kikkers!!, ook leuk om mee te kijken op het melkveebedrijf, heerlijk ontbijt. Prachtig gebied om te wandelen en te fietsen.

Helaas alleen toegangelijk voor mensen die kunnen traplopen.
