The city of Doetinchem is situated in the centre of 'de Achterhoek' and has a lot to offer tourists. The Berkenhof is a characteristic home dating from 1937 in 'Amsterdamse school' architecture. The house is just out of the city centre of Doetinchem (Terborg/Gendringen road). The house has 3 guestrooms (an additional room is available). The rooms are on two floors with a bathroom and living room/ corner with refrigerator, TV and water cooker on both floors. The rooms all have a seating area and a wash basin. The rooms are on the back side of the home overlooking the beautiful garden.'De Berkenhof' is close by the highway and the railroad station. The walking routes Pieterpad and Graafschapspad are nearby. You can visit the castle.

Positive Experiences
Zijn gastvrij ontvangen, vriendelijke mensen die ook nog van een gezellig praatje houden. Maria heeft alles keurig voor elkaar, maakt een lekker ontbijt, en we komen er weker een keer terug als het zo uitkomt.

Leuke ontvangst. Was voor ons de eerste keer dat we een B&B bezochten, maar dat wordt zeker vervolgd. Het ontbijt was prima.

Stoelen op zolderverdieping zitten niet echt prettig.

Zeer gastvrij en de kinderen voelden zich gelijk thuis.

Veel extra's op de kamer, bv. koffie en theezakjes.

Heerlijk ontbijt in een kamer met uitzicht op de tuin, kortom genieten.
