This cosy garden house close to seabeach, Amsterdam and Haarlem has its own large sauna, own entrance, shower, toilet, (special rate) and garden. It is situated in a quiet street in the green village of Driehuis.
In walking distance there are woods and dunes (the National Park Zuid-Kennemerland) and monumental landed estates.
Seabeaches are reached within 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bike.
The recreational area Spaarnwoude is also close by.
It takes 7 minutes to walk to the trainstation that can either lead you to the finest shopping city of the Netherlands: Haarlem (15 minutes) or to the scintillating metropole Amsterdam (30 minutes).

Many different routes nearby: biking, walking,etc.
At night you can dine around the corner in the attractive Grand Cafe Valerius (reserve!), or old Cafe Middeloo.
In short: one week will not prove enough to see and enjoy all the possibilities.

Positive Experiences
Leuke, intieme locatie met zonnige, windluwe, groene tuin. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. Er is veel info over de omgeving aanwezig. Heerlijk zitten aan de ontbijttafel en genieten van een uitgebreid ontbijt. Bedden slapen heerlijk.
Prachtige natuur, binnen 5 minuten, om te wandelen en/of te fietsen.

Nous avons reçu un très bon accueil de Mme Van Kuijeren.
Le logement et le service proposé est très correct.
Seuls petits soucis:
- TV5 monde (chaine TV francophone) non présente et impossible à régler.
- Internet ne fonctionnant pas le premier jour

Vriendelijke gastvrouw, gezellig, knus huisje. Goede bedden.
Prijs/kwaliteit is goed.

For improvement
Ontbijt goed, maar niet verrassend.
Klein toilet.

Leuk tuinhuisje met heerlijke bedden, rustig gelegen en geheel privé. Aardige gastvrouw, prima ontbijt.

For improvement
Prettig dat je de deur van de woon/slaapkamer kunt sluiten zodat je niet 'in de kijkert' zit, want met de wcdeur dicht is het toilet bijna niet te gebruiken. Misschien de extra buitenruimte achter opofferen (omdat er ook nog een buitenruimte vóór het huisje is), daar een inloopdouche met wastafel van maken en de muur tussen tiolet en huidige doucheruimte doorbreken zodat een ruim toilet ontstaat?

Heel vriendelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw en ook veel goede en bruikbare tips voor te bezoeken plaatsen in de buurt. De sauna is echt een meerwaarde. De b&b is van alle gemakken voorzien en alles wat je eventueel nodig zou kunnen hebben is voorhanden.
