This accommodation is located in the southern part of the province of Limburg and is excellent for hiking trips. In the area around the village of Epen is over 150 kilometers of walking trails, through grazing-land, forest, hamlets, small villages but also through beautiful valleys hill tops with panoramic views. In the middle of this hiking area is our hotel, on the border of the village of Epen. In the hotel is a good-natured atmosphere without the frills. The hotel has basic rooms and plenty of space for relaxation, reading corner with books and magazines, games and a large verandah overlooking the green valley. You can either sit in the lounge (no smoking) on the first floor or sit at the bar for a talk in the authentic small café. We have maps and information for you to make use of or buy your own choice of 12 walking routes from 6 to 36 kilometers (4,35 euro per 5). All starting at the frontdoor.

Heel jammer,dat de twee uitbaatsters erg afstandelijk en formeel zijn en mij niet het gevoel geven, dat ik welkom ben.Geen enkele hartelijkheid!

Alles heel schoon. Schuur beschikbaar voor onze mtb's. Zeer uitgebreid en goed ontbijt.

Halgedeeltes en Cafe gedeelte hebben nog een rookgeur.

Douche is sterk verouderd.

Leuk ouderwets pand met allemaal gangen en trapjes. Zeer verzorgd hotel. Lekker ontbijt met veel soorten bruin brood, zelfgebakken cake en klassieke muziek. Een terras op het gras in de tuin, onder een boom, heerlijk. Voor de ligging had ik wel een 11 willen geven. Aardige mensen met gevoel voor humor.

Ik heb me suf gepiekerd, en het enige wat ik kan bedenken: een fles water op het toilet, op zijn Indisch.
