Century’s old and lovingly restored this Saxon farm, known as “In de Bongerd”(orchyard), lies in the Hondsrug between the brooks of the rivers Aa and Hunze.
Surrounded by forests, woods, heather and babbling brooks this charming and tastefully furnished farm has much to offer. Apple trees of more than a hundred years old and the peacefully beautiful countryside, make your stay “In de Bongerd” one to remember. At any time of the year you can visit the garden cottage and the guest accomodation with forest gazebo.

Positive Experiences
Schitterende sfeervolle B&B op een prachtige plek. Genoten van het haardvuur in het prieel.Overheerlijk ontbijt met uitzicht op wei met schapen. Tuinhuis is zeer compleet en sfeervol.

For improvement
Wij vonden het jammer dat meneer niet altijd even vriendelijk was. Voor het gastenverblijf moet je door de woonkamer van de eigenaren. Het is een houten huis; e.e.a. is gehorig. De badkamer is erg klein en moesten we delen. We werden reeds rond 10.30 uur verzocht de B&B te verlaten i.v.m. andere gasten in de middag.

prachtige lokatie, mooie tuin.

For improvement
Onsympathieke gastheer, nors.
Gastvrouw vertelde dat we de buitenhaard mochten aansteken, er lag al hout in.
De volgende dag bij het afrekenen, vroeg de gastheer hier 5 euro voor.

Het is prettig toeven in deze bed and breakfast. Goede bedden, heerlijk ontbijt en de gastvrouw en -heer zijn zeer vriendelijk.

Een heerlijk tuinhuisje op een heerlijk plekje. Een haast feerieke tuin met een weitje met schaapjes. Lekker lui gezeten onder de appelbomen in de tuin. 's Avonds kaarsen aan en vuurtje opgestookt. Je kan hier goed tot rust komen.

For improvement
Aan beide kanten komen auto's langsrijden dus met kleine kinderen wel oppassen!
