Do you like rest, space, nature and a wide view? Than “de Opkikker” is the right place for you.
Our farm is situated centrally in naturereserve “Wieden and Weerribben” and in between the small picturesque little towns Giethoorn and Blokzijl. Here you will find a lot of hiking-, cycling and canoe routes, where you can go through the history and culture of this area. Also hiking route from B&B to B&B with baggage service.
The farm is 6 km from the centre of Giethoorn. You can only go to Giethoorn Centre bij Car or Bike. You can rent a bike by us.
We are not geared to children
The Opkikker offers room to 10 persons in tree 2-persons rooms with a bathroom each. 1 4 person space, with 2 bedrooms, 1 sittingroom and 1 bathroom.
There is for our guests a living room and a dining kitchen and a large garden with a pond for joint use.
After consultation dogs can spend the night in a separate space. Each morning breakfast is ready with fresh rolls and an egg of our own chickens.

Mooie lokatie, prachtig uitzicht. Heel rustig maar dichtbij Giethoorn centrum.
Schoon-moeder nam de honneurs op een prima manier waar. Was vriendelijk en gastvrij. Ontbijt goed verzorgd.

Inrichting van de kamer was niet klaar. Heel sober ingericht met alleen een bed, bank en oude kast. Geen sfeer of gezelligheid, geen tv op de kamer, geen nachtkastjes of goede verlichting. Gedeelde huiskamer met onconfortabele stoelen. Prijs in geen verhouding tot comfort. Een leversgroot verschil met andere bezochte b&b's

Erg schoon! Perfecte service. We hebben een rijk ontbijt gekregen die we lekker in de zon in de tuin bij de vijver mochten nuttigen. Ideaal voor rustzoekers. Zeker een aanrader.
