Dit prachtige Rijksmonument dateert uit 1654 en is de oudste woning van Grou, tegenover de 12e-eeuwse St. Piterkerk waar u de sfeer van weleer beleeft. In het centrum van het charmante en gezellige Grou dat meer dan een bezoek waard is met zijn vele winkels en restaurantjes. Ideaal gelegen voor de watersporter of zakenman aan het water en in het hart van Friesland, op slechts een half uurtje rijden van de fraaiste golfbanen. Maar ook een heerlijke “Thuiskamer” voor een weekendje of weekje weg met het hele gezin.
De Thuiskamer heeft twee gastenkamers met elk een eigen badkamer. U heeft een eigen ingang, waardoor u veel privacy geniet.
Het ontbijt, met eigen gemaakte en Friese producten, wordt geserveerd in de gezellige huiskamer. Het totaal aan accommodatie, service en faciliteiten van De Thuiskamer is ook uitstekend geschikt voor zakelijke bijeenkomsten en besloten diners tot 12 personen.

Een mooi huisje, met eigen ingang, gezellige woonkamer met houtkachel! Frisse slaapkamer met heerlijk bed en idem douche. Enthousiaste eigenaresse die tips geeft en op verzoek het eea voor je regelt.
