Welcome to our B&B Achter Het Rode Hek in Herpt in the centre of the Netherlands.
Our Bed and Breakfast at Achterweg nr. 12, is situated behind house number 10. Park your car along the street. Just walk up the drive, about 30 meters, when you pass through the Red Gate (Het Rode Hek) you enter our garden.
The garden and the house are enlightened by sculptures, paintings and other objects of art made by local artists. In the summer you can enjoy the garden and in winter you can sit by the fire in our library.
As there is no TV, this is the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life and to enjoy the tranquillity of mind and it's silence.

Vriendelijke, gezellige en erg gastvrije gastheer/vrouw, ik voelde me welkom en thuis. Ik werd echt in de watten gelegd. Ik was de enige gast en had de hele bovenverdieping tot mijn beschikking en dat was prettig. Heerlijk ontbijtje gehad en sávonds een prima diner, ik vond het gezellig dat we de maaltijden samen deelden. Na het eten nog een afzakkertje in de bibliotheek bij een warm haardvuurtje maakte het helemaal compleet.
Vriendelijke, gezellige en erg gastvrije gastheer/vrouw, ik voelde me welkom en thuis. Ik werd echt in de watten gelegd. Wat een vriendelijke mensen en een fijn onderkomen vlak bij het mooie Heusden. Mooie slaapkamer en badkamer. Alles middels gezellige huisvlijt van sfeer voorzien door de gastheer. Gezellig samen aan het ontbijt met verhalen over en weer.

De sfeer was prima, vooral het gezellige ontbijt met de gastheer en -dame vonden we een erg leuke toevoeging van ons weekendje weg. Heusden ligt slechts op 25 min lopen, prima locatie!

Leuk dicht bij de natuur huis. Rust, leuke bibliotheek waar je tot rust kunt komen. Veel boeken. Mooie badkamer, bad en douche. Toilet apart. Koffie en Thee mogelijkheden. Werd ons gevraagd of we zin hadden in een film in Heusden, vond ik heel leuk! Veel gevoel voor humor. Vond het heel prettig dat we na ons officiele uitcheck toch nog in de bieb terechtkonden vanwege slecht weer. Erg gastvrij.

Bon rapport qualité-prix. De quoi se faire des boissons chaudes; Monsieur parle le français. Les hôtes déjeunent avec nous comme dans une chambre d'hôtes. Tout près de notre route vélo LF7 et du village fortifié de Heusden.
