Stylish, fresh and cosy, that is the best description of 'Bed and Breakfast aan Zee. 100 meters from sea, dunes and beach, villagecentre 'around the corner'. Opened the whole year arround, rooms and apparments with lots of privacy. Rooms are all with toilet, shower or bath. TV and radio on the room. Terrace, kitcheb and livingroom always open for guests because the owners don't live in the B&B.
Coffee, tea, softdrinks, wine and beer available, self-service. Consumpties aanwezig, self-service uit de gastenkoelkast. Good and fresh breakfast with different kinds of bread, cheese, home-made marmeleade, fresh presses orangejuice, etc. Information about what to do in the regio. Free parkinglicence. We speak English, German, French and en Spanish. Minimum stay: two nights. Eastern, Christmas, etc. minimum stay 4 nights. Bookings for one night only possible 48 hours before arrival (if available).

Breakfast was very good, atmosphere great and fresh food were wonderfull.
For improvement
two single matrasses weren't great, there was always an opening between them, so sleeping together wasn't an option. THere was only a curtain instead of a door to the bathroom, not a good solution in our view. furthermore the bath/shower was not high enough, tall people might easily hit their head.

Sehr schönes Appartement. Alles drin, sogar Spülmaschine. Personal ist super freundlich. Immer frische Handtücher, wenn man möchte. Wir waren 10 Tage dort in dieser Zeit wurde 1x komplett durchgeputzt. Würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren.

A lovely appartement in the town center of Katwijk, very close to the beach and to all the necessary facilities for an easy WE on the shore : supermarket, restaurants, (good) take away food (verse vis & frites).
For improvement
The appartement should propose maps and tourism information (although the VVV is at 10 minutes walk).
The service could be more accurate (in partcular with respect to timing).
The appartement should include a hoover.
