Bed & Breakfast (and art gallery) in the former town hall (1913) in Kloosterburen. Kloosterburen is a village in the north-west of the province of Groningen, in 'het hoogeland' (the high land). Close by is the village of Pieterburen, borg Verhildersum and the national park Lauwersmeer. Various gardens are open for public from April. Excellent hiking, cycling and boating in this area. Bike, canoe or boat for rent nearby. We have detailed information and maps of the area for guests to make use of.The large towerroom overlooks the village and has also a bathroom en suite. The spacious living-/ bedroom is on the ground floor and has doors to the terrace (south). We serve breakfast made of biological ingredients. Restaurants (also on walking distance) from the basic to the very luxurious (we advise you to make reservations in advance).

Towerroom: you can sleep in the highest room of Kloosterburen, with views to the two churches and the village. It has a bathroom en suite, a big bed and plenty of space to sit. You can make a cup of coffee or tea. 10 euro discount when longer stay.
