Our B & B is located in the center of Leiden, the next Hooglandse Church and 100 meter away from the castle. Our apartments have private entrance. 1 apartment with private entrance is located on the ground floor. Apartment 2 (also with a private entrance) is located on the 1st floor and reached via a steep staircase. There are many cafes and restaurant nearby. Moreover, there are extensive shopping. Famous museums like the Museum of Antiquities, the Cloth Hall are within walking distance from our apartments. If you come by car, then you may want to park in the garage at Albert Heijn (Hooigracht). A day / night there card costs 12 Euro. The garage is within 300 meter distance. On Wednesday and Saturday market is there. The Saturday Market begins in Rusk Steeg. During the week it is usually very quiet in the neighborhood but the weekend is right in the vibrant nightlife of Leiden and can be noisy.

We loved this B&B! Maria gave us a very warm welcome and had prepared many special touches from the beautiful roses to the kids bed, complete with kids bedding. We were expecting one of the children to share with us as the apartment had a double bed and a sofa for an extra person but Maria had prepared a double sofa bed for the children so we all had a comfortable night's sleep. We could hear the church bells chime but this didn't bother us too much - the plus side meant that we were in the beautiful old part of the town with its lovely gothic church next door. The apartment was spotlessly clean with beautiful, tasteful decor throughout. We enjoyed a very nice continental breakfast. We highly recommend this B&B.

A great location just up from a lovely canal lined with cafes and a fantastic market on Saturdays. Many buses run to the central station along a road just across the canal. Generous breakfasts in the fridge, flowers on the table - all part of the special and kind service.

Previous guests have found the church bells too noisy - they didn't worry us at all. Also, the B&B website mentions the very steep stairs to the upper apartment - they are right, they are very steep.

Ik heb samen met mijn zoon van 9 een heerlijk verblijf gehad. We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenares!
De kamer is erg sfeervol en van alle gemakken voorzien!
Er was een ruime keuze in de koelkast aan beleg en drankjes voor het ontbijt!

Je moet geen lichte slaper zijn! Kerkklok (direct naast pand) slaat elk uur en geluiden buiten hoor je ook goed. Wij hadden er geen last van!

Es ist ein sehr schönes Zimmer. Die Wirtin war sehr nett und freundlich, das Frühstück war reichhaltig und wurde auf das Zimmer gebracht.
Negatives am Zimmer gab es in meinen Augen nicht. Das Einzige, was etwas stört, ist die Kirchturmglocke, die auch Nachts die Stunde schlägt. Aber sonst war alles sehr schön :-)
