The lodge is situated in the back part of a canalhouse in the university city of Leiden.
This indenpendent accomodation with full privacy has a sitting/sleeproom (2-personsbed), TV, diningkitchen (roomserice), bathroom with shower and an own toilette. The lodge has an indenpendent entry via a great garage for free parking automobile and bicycles. The situation of the lodge is unique middle in monumental area of the oldest part of the centre. Leiden, the birthplace of Rembrandt van Rijn, has a lot of possibilities so as musea, gallaries, 35 historical courts, monuments, cosy restaurants and canals. Sightseeying by boat is an option. You find here a lot of
shopstreets with boutiques in antique and curiosa and bric-à-brac. Leiden has the oldest Hortus Botanicus.

Erg gastvrije mensen. Heerlijk ontbijt en je zit dicht bij het centrum. Voelt je snel op je gemak.

Een heerlijk plekje in een verborgen achterhuisje.
In een mooie buurt, vlakbij het centrum en alle bezienswaardigheden.
De eigenaars zijn geweldig en doen alles om het verblijf een succes te maken. De garage is een mooi extraatje en het ontbijt is geweldig.

Zeer hoge service. Erg goed ontbijt. Zeer leuke ruimte, leuk ingericht. Heb me daar erg prettig gevoeld. Zit in een uitstekende wijk. Niet midden in de drukte en toch in het centrum. Koffie en thee te zetten, waterkoker is er. Koffie en thee ook aanwezig. Gewoon erg goede gastheer/gastvrouw.

For improvement
1 verbeterpuntje: omdat je niet gebruik kunt maken van het gasstel, zou een magnetron erg handig zijn geweest.Ik wil er best per verblijf wat extra's voor betalen. Dat ontbrak er echt nog aan want je kunt niks opwarmen. Voor de rest alles goed en ik kom er zeker weer eens.

Sehr zu empfehlen. Da gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Auch wenn man nicht mehr ganz so jung ist. Im Herzen der Stadt in schönem Ambiente. Dazu ein Frühstück vom Feinsten! Distinguierte, freundliche Wirtsleute, bei denen man gerne zu Gast ist.

- Sehr sympathische Gastgeber !
- Wohnung in einem ruhigen Altstadtviertel, aber nur ein "Katzensprung" zu den Attraktionen der Stadt -> kostenlose Garage !!!
- Vom reichhaltigen Frühstück bleibt genug übrig für ein Lunch-Paket...
- Sehr zu empfehlen: eine Bootsrundfahrt !
- Sehr zu empfehlen: Touren mit dem "Fiets" (Fahrrad) durch die Stadt und in die Umgebung - z.B. zur Nordsee - erstklassiges Fahrradwegnetz !
- Aad und Ineke geben gerne Auskunft und helfen, wo sie können.

Alles in allem: sehr empfehlenswert !!!

Kleiner Tip zum Schluß: Die Wohnung hat einen Steinfußboden -> Hausschuhe nicht vergessen!
