At the edge of Lochem, a cosy town in one of the most beautiful areas of the Achterhoek in the east of The Netherlands, you will find B&B de Vijverhof. Situated in a peaceful park with a picturesque lake, this historical villa built in 1911 is the ideal base from which to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings associated with this part of The Netherlands. The Vijverhof is also a perfect starting point for cycling or walking trips, day excursions, and visits to the cities Zutphen and Deventer.

Your day starts with a choice from the extensive breakfast buffet in the intimate room which has great views over the lake. Afterwards you can relax in the pleasant lounge or in the large garden with cosy retreats in the sun or shade. In the evening the town of Lochem offers a wide choice of restaurants suitable for all budgets.

Zeer vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw met intresse in de gasten. Behulpzaam bij het Reserveren van een Restaurant voor het Vijverhof menu en de volgende dag informeren hoe het was geweest. In een prachtig pand en mooi gelegen aan de vijver.

Zeer gastvrije ontvangst.
Prachtige accommodatie en locatie.
Niet duur.
Een plek om terug te komen!

For improvement
Inrichting van het gebouw (meubilair) is wat stijfjes. Echte bloemen en/of planten zouden beter bij dit prachtige gebouw passen dan de aanwezige kunstbloemen.
Een speelplek voor kinderen ontbreekt.

Bijzonder gastvrije en vriendelijke ontvangst. Grote villa, mooi gelegen, na een dag fietsen lekker uitgerust op het gazon met uitzicht over de vijver. Heerlijk geslapen en genoten van het ontbijt. Top!

De vijverhof kwam meer over als een hotel dan een B&B. Er was ook een lounche waar je met slecht weer kon verblijven en je kon de hele dag door een kopje koffie (thee) pakken tegen een kleine vergoeding. Ook de drankjes in de minibar op de kamer waren redelijk van prijs.
Het is misschien iets duurder dan veel andere B&B's, maar je hebt een eigen badkamer en toillet.
