Herberg Godot is located in a former schoolbuilding, in Marrum, a small village in the north of Friesland, close by Leeuwarde, Dokkum and Holwerd, from where the ferry to Ameland departs.
The inn "Herberg Godot" has 2 bedrooms and 1 dormitory for 18 persons. The rooms have their own bathroom.
The B&B has a large garden that is free for everybody. There are a lot of nice places to sit here.
The rooms as well as the dormitory have their own terras.

The room was very comfortable but could have done with some extras e.g. TV, coffee making facilities and it was a little dark. The service was very good with very friendly and helpful owners. The meal was very good but a little overpriced at eu30 for two.

Prima locatie met zeer gastvrije eigenaars.
Kamer van alle gemakken voorzien. Leuke tuin met zitje, privacy gewaarborgd.

Rustig gelegen maar toch dicht bij het "dorps" centrum.
Het ontbijt was zeer lux. Vooral de aardbeien vielen bij ons in de smaak.

De douche was niet echt afgescheiden van de rest van de badkamer. Hierdoor liep alles onder.
Geen TV op de kamer.

Point of departure
Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Flexibele benadering. Schitterende tuin. Het eten was perfect. Het waardechtpaar probeert er binnen de beperkte mogelijkheden van het gebouw veel van te maken en slaagt daar goed in. Een bijzondere B&B die uiteindelijk een goede indruk achterlaat.
