Bed&Breakfast the cottage is a stand alone fully furnished appartement with lounge, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and garden.Breakfast will be provided in the cottage. The cottage is within 3 km of the sanddunes and the beach.The dunes are marvellous for a walk or a bike to Noordwijk Katwijk Scheveningen or Zandvoort, and a tandembike is available.The historic cities like Leiden is within 12 km, with its canals, and historic buildings and museums. Haarlem is at 15 km, The Hague at 25 km and Amsterdam 30km. All are also very easily accessable by train. We can drop you of at the station in Voorhout only 3 km away.
In spring we have the world famous flowershow at the Keukenhof in Lisse 7 km from the cottage, and at the end of April the flowerparade in Noordwijkerhout.
Noordwijkerhout is the flowerbulb area where all the fields flowers from mid March till the beginning of May.
In the summer,is Noordwijk with its beaches a very nice place for tourists, with the terraces along the boulevard

Positive Experiences
Hartelijke ontvangst, ruime en zeer smaakvol ingerichte ruimtes. Werkelijk aan alles wat je nodig hebt werd gedacht! Een heerlijk bed en een royaal ontbijt! Wij waren zeer zeer tevreden!

For improvement
De ligging aan een iets te drukke weg maakt dat je vroeger wakker bent, maar daar kan je weinig aan veranderen!

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in het met smaak ingerichte huisje. We werden heel gastvrij ontvangen door fam. Oostdam. Het was elke keer zalig \'thuis\' komen. Verwarming aan, koffie en chocomel erbij en de spelletjes op tafel. Lekker uitwaaien en genoten van het zonnetje aan het strand, het mooie Leiden bezocht, in het dorp pizza gehaald en bij de dvd van Gooische Vrouwen opgegeten, Corpus bezocht (moeite zeker waard, wél reserveren!) en elke ochtend een (te!) heerlijk, uitgebreid ontbijt. Kortom: het was Genieten met een grote, zachte G! We komen zeker vanuit Brabant weer terug naar The Cottage!

Een volledig sfeervol ingericht huis. Een vriendelijke/hartelijke gastvrouw. Wij hebben 2 x heerlijk genoten van een uitgebreid ontbijt. Helemaal top!!!

Wij hadden The Cottage geboekt als overnachtingsplek na ons huwelijk op Landgoed de Olmenhorst. We mochten de tandem lenen om van de Olmenhorst terug te kunnen fietsen. Heerlijk huisje, buitengewoon vriendelijke mensen en absoluut waanzinnig ontbijt. De speciale aandacht voor de voor ons speciale overnachting hebben we ontzettend gewaardeerd. Een warme herinnering.

Sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Waren uns mit Tipps und Ratschlägen für Ausflüge gerne behilflich. Das Cottage hat eine zentrale Lage, sehr viele Ausflugsziele sind gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Sehr schöner feinsandiger Strand in ca. 3 km Entfernung. Umgebung für Radtouren ideal.
Das Cottage ist sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Alles was man für einen wunderschönen Urlaub benötigt. Herzliche Grüße von uns an Familie Oostdam!!!
