Our B&B Onder de Beuk -Under the Beech- is situated in the idyllic village of Oldeberkoop that is also referred to as ‘the pearl’ of Ooststellingwerf.

The village is surrounded by many forests and areas of outstanding natural beauty such as Dellebuursterheide, Drents Friese Wold, De Tjongervallei. Throughout the year the village is the centre of many activities in terms of art, culture and music. This makes Oldeberkoop extremely suitable for all sorts of recreation. Hence our B&B is an ideal place for lovers of culture, nature and music. Keen gardeners and people seeking the peace and quietness of the countryside will also feel very much at home in our B&B. We are open all year round and you are most welcome!

De kombinatie van B&B en de mogelijkheid om zelf te koken vonden wij ideaal. Bovendien een ruimte los van het huis met privé terras hebben wij als zeer prettig ervaren.

For improvement
De badkamer bleef lang vochtig waardoor gebruikte handdoeken klam bleven.
Misschien ook een idee om eetkamerstoelen te nemen die onder de tafel geschoven kunnen worden zodat er meer bewegingsruimte ontstaat.

Zoals uit de cijfers blijkt waren we zeer verrast door de zorg en de ligging.
We voelden ons echt van alle kanten verwend, en dat hadden we op deze manier niet verwacht.

Hartelijke ontvangst, wegens ziekte de volgende ochtend alweer vertrokken. Goede prijs compensatie overeen gekomen.

For improvement
Teveel loshangende kabels in het keuken gedeelte. Zelf ontbijt klaar maken. Wel voldoende aanwezig om tot een goed ontbijt te komen. Maar t.a.v. ontbijtservice dat verwachten wij anders.

Door de gastvrije ontvangst voelden we ons al snel thuis bij deze B&B.
We werden in de watten gelegd door de gastvrouw met een zeer ruim aanbod van lekkernijen voor ons ontbijt. Al met al een zeer geslaagd verblijf.
