From mid march 2012 we welcome you at Bed & Breakfast De Ruige Weide, a great experience in the middle of the Green Heart. The bed and breakfast is situated in a nineteenth-century farmhouse just minutes away from the famous “Heksenwaag” in Oudewater. This is where your hostess Nicole and host Sjacco Schouten live together with their kids, Manouk, Tijs and Daan. An idyllic place that we like to introduce to you. B&B De Ruige Weide is situated in the Green Heart of Holland (“Het Groene Hart”), where you have extensive opportunities to walk and cycle. The farm is surrounded by a lot of nature, but also by the presence of ancient villages and towns. Close to the farm there are the lakes of Reeuwijk, where you can enjoy water sports, fishing and the many beautiful views. A full breakfast is served with freshly baked breads, fruits from our garden, homemade jam, cottage Ruige Weide-cheese and fresh picked eggs. Free parking for your car or (motor)bikes.

Het is prachtig gelegen, maar misschien wat ver uit de stad. Een mooie uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te ontdekken.



For improvement
Het is spiksplinter nieuw en oogt zeer mooi. Misschien nog wat puntjes op de i zetten; zoals ophang haken voor je handdoek in de douche ect.

Ruige Weide is located in a beautiful setting and lovely building. The B&B is relatively new and the bedroom was very nicely done. Nicole is a warm and welcoming hostess who was extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good.

For improvement
We would have liked a comfortable space to sit.

Mooie groene omgeving, prachtig opgeknapte slaapkamers, heerlijke bedden. Alles mooi opgeknapt met oog voor detail. Zalig ontbijt met streekproducten en ongekende gastvrijheid. Perfecte uitvalsbasis om verschillende steden te bezoeken of een dagje strand. Wij komen hier graag nog een keer terug om even helemaal te ontspannen!

Prachtige rustieke loctie met een mooie stijlvolle kamer. Een oase van rust. We hebben heerlijk geslapen en het onbijt was zeer smakelijk. Leuk om al die streekproducten te proeven.
De kinderen konden heerlijk spelen op het erf. Nicole, je bent een uitstekende gastvrouw!
