Our in old style renovated cottage is situated In the centre of Sint Pancras, an old historical farmers village near to Alkmaar (the famous cheese city). In the old Dutch garden not only a very old Walnut Tree is found, but also an original cabbage store house which has been renovated in original style and transformed with love into a romantic Bed & Breakfast adres.

Bed & Breakfast The Old Walnut Tree is very appropriate for short or longer holidays with trips to the beautiful old city Alkmaar (5 km) with all it's shops and offcourse the famous Dutch cheese market, the tremendous landscape of Westfriesland with it's lands and tulip grounds, old cities like Schagen, Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Medemblik or Twisk, and last-but-not-least the dunes and beaches (10 km) between Egmond, Bergen and Schoorl. Amsterdam is only 50 kilometers away.

Een prachtige plek met veel privacy. De Tuinkamer is werkelijk prachtig. Moor ingericht en heel romantisch. Precies wat ik zocht om mijn vrouw eens te verrassen. Mariska is bovendien een hele fijne gastvrouw met veel aandacht voor haar gasten. Het ontbijt op de veranda was het hoogtepunt van ons uitje: fantastisch!
