Terherne is a village between the lakes, in the middle of Friesland.
The Wharf Cottages stand in twos at the edge of the wharf; all with a view over the wharf with its classical boats.
All buildings around the wharf are made out of wood, thus the Wharf Cottages as well. This creates a pleasant atmosphere and a comfortable temperature. Downstairs two bedrooms (with each two beds) and a bathroom are located. Outside you will find a veranda on which a cup of coffee can be enjoyed and experiences of the day can be exchanged with the ship-owners lying with their boats in the harbor. Upstairs there is a spacious living room with a balcony looking over the wharf.
And… each house has its own name. After looking at Frisian history, sports, writers and the language itself, names of well-known persons have been chosen. In the houses you will find something characteristic of the name-givers: photos, books, posters, etc.

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Goed ingerichteappartement. Heerlijk ontbijt met verse producten als je van Bed&Breakfast service gebruik maakt.Leuke omgeving (als de zon schijnt, en dat deed ie) om te wandelen en fietsen, ook als je geen watersporter bent. Daarnaast biedt Teherne Haven allerlei leuke activiteiten aan, waarvoor wij geen tijd hadden.
