Nominated best Bed & Breakfast in 2008!

In January 2009 our luxury Bed and Breakfast at the Beach opened “De Tweede Kamer” with a nod to that other Hague institute; The Lower House.

At the Beach is located in a cottage with separate bedroom and sittingroom.

De Tweede Kamer has its own roof terrace and is completely decorated in Baroque style.

Both rooms have a comfortable boxspring mattress and have a refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, TV/DVD and all the facilities you would expect from a 5 tulips accommodation.

To all guests, by appointmentat a small additional fee, the spacious sauna is available. It is combined with a shower in a separate building in the garden.

Both facilities are located in the upscale Vogelwijk, an oasis of calm in a bustling city. Only a few meters away you will find a beautiful nature reserve with dunes and beach. The bus to downtown leaves around the corner

Balkon vol met algen. Buiten-meubilair + tuinkussens erg verpauperd.

- Zeer vriendelijk onthaal / aardige gastvrouw
- Erg groot en comfortabel bed
- Goeie douche
- Uitgebreide selectie koffie en thee
- Magnetron gebruik
- Geen vaste tijd voor check-out, wat ons alle tijd gaf om het rustig aan te doen

For improvement
- Wat stoffig hier en daar
- Geen theelepeltjes
- Stenen vloer, dus slippers zouden een goed idee zijn tijdens de winter (het was erg koud!)
- Geen deur / gordijn voor de douche (al was dat voor ons geen probleem als stel)
- Ontbijt werd al weer gauw opgehaald, wat een gehaast gevoel gaf (of misschien eet ik gewoon te langzaam!)

We stayed in the Tweede Kamer celebrating our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay.
The decor was elegant and beautifully done and the bed was very comfortable and inviting.
The accommodation was clean and tidy. The highlight of the stay was definitely the sauna and champagne.
We had a delicious continental breakfasts the next morning and went for a stroll on the beach.
What stood out most was the hospitality, warmth and friendly nature of the host, Ina.
If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely return.

Wir wollten zwischen Weihnachten und Neujahr die Seele baumeln lassen und haben hier eine sehr angenehme Gastfreundschaft, ein wunderschönes, sauberes Zimmer mit exzellentem Frühstück sehr genossen. Die Nähe des B&B zum Strand ist super, die Anbindung an die Innenstadt eigentlich unproblematisch, so man ein wenig Zeit in das Verständnis des niederländischen Nahverkehrs investiert.
