Bed & Breakfast De Valerius is ten minutes away from beach and city.
It is situated on the ground floor of a house from 1903. The wonderful bathroom and sleepingroom are on the backside of the house just like the backhouse where the breakfast is served.
Nearby is one of the finest shoppingstreets of The Hague, "De Fred" (-erik Hendriklaan). It takes 5 minutes to walk to the wonderful museum "Het Gemeentemuseum" or the GEM, the wonderful photomuseum.
The World Forum Centre takes only a 5 minutes walk just like the International Court, the Catshuis or the Peacepalace.
You can go to the beach by bicycle in 10 minutes, to the city by tram, bus or bycicle in 10 minutes.
De Valerius is the place to be for lovers of culture and nature.
In our neighboorhood are enough parkingplaces for free and you can park your bicycle or bike in the house.
We have enough place for more guests (6 max), but you have to use the same bathroom.

Geweldige bed & breakfast ! Wat ons betreft hadden het ook allemaal tienen mogen zijn, maar dat gelooft toch niemand, vandaar de negen. Mooi pand, heerlijke binnentuin, meer dan uitmuntend ontbijt, fantastische badkamer en dit allemaal bij onder toeziend oog van een zeer attente, gastvrije en bescheiden gastvrouw !!

Prachtige ruime kamer en een luxe badkamer, een uitstekend verzorgd ontbijt, goede leenfietsen Ook de locatie die dichtbij het strand en dichtbij het centrum van Den Haag in een mooie wijk ligt, heeft bijgedragen aan een paar heel ontspannen dagen! Een aanrader, wij komen zeker nog eens!

Eerder aangekomen, geen probleem. Kamer is heel prettig, met deuren naar de binnentuin. Heerlijk. Koffie, thee, ijskastje en kledingkast op de kamer. Badkamer is fantastisch. Mochten fietsen lenen, dus in regen en wind naar scheveningen op de fiets. Zeiknat weer thuis gekomen, kleding in de droger, dat was handig. Ontbijt was af! Tips van Hans waren ook handig. Een onvergetelijk verjaardags weekend gehad!

Een ruim onderkomen in een mooi oud pand, van alle gemakken voorzien. Comfortabele badkamer en prima bed. Attente gastgevers met oog voor detail. Fijn dat ik een fiets mocht gebruiken tijdens mijn verblijf. Heerlijk ontbijt, zorgvuldig klaargemaakt. Zo ook het lunchpakket, dat ik had besteld voor een wandeldag in de duinen.

For improvement
Het enige wat ik jammer vond, waren de voetstappen die ik 's avonds hoorde op de verdieping boven mijn bed. Dat hield me de eerste avond helaas uit mijn slaap. Ik ben dat thuis niet gewend.

Een prachtige sfeervolle B&B. Super gelegen tussen stad en strand en vlakbij het Gemeente museum (aanrader!). Ontzettend aardig dat we fietsen mochten lenen daardoor was alles super makkelijk te bereiken!
