The Lake House 2-6 persons.
Near Amsterdam(only 20 minutes) beautiful appartment in big farmhouse on the lake "IJsselmeer" in the village Uitdam.
Closed in July and August.
Situated in a national park (Waterland East) famous for its variety of birds. Suitable for 2-6 persons.
Large, sunny living room with two big sleeping rooms, bathroom with shower and two restrooms. All rooms have view on the water. Small pantry, flatscreen tv, wifi, piano.
The Lake House is situated in between two lakes, the 'IJsselmeer' and the 'Uitdammer Die'. On the dyke at the lake you can sit and enjoy the beautiful lakeview. The lake itself offers excellent swimming water.
Big waterside garden with jetty and rowing boat. Bicycles for rent.
A perfect environment for cycling, hiking and watersports.
Medieval towns such as Monnickendam, Marken, Edam and Volendam nearby.
In the morning fresh eggs at breakfast from the chickens from the Lake House.

Die Gastgeber haben uns absolut verwoehnt: Blumen ueberall in Vasen, tolles Fruehstueck und bei Sonnenschein sogar auf dem Deich serviert, im Hintergrund Klassikmusik. Unvergesslich schoen war das! Und immer mitgedacht, zB bei Restaurantauswahl, Angebot um Tisch reservieren zu lassen,...Man merkt, dass diese Menschen offen sind fuer ihre Gaeste und ihnen einen tollen Aufenthalt goennen. Auch dass sie selbst viel gereist sind in der Welt und das Leben zu geniessen wissen. Ich kann dieses B&B waermstens empfehlen und wuerde auch gerne jederzeit wieder buchen.

For improvement
Luft im Vorraum zum Appartment war etwas stickig. Evtl bei Sonnenschein langer auf Durchzug lueften.

esperienza fantastica. a pochi chilometri da amsterdam in un'atmosfera da favola. area disponibile in casa notevole da max 6 posti letto. i proprietari gentilie simpatici, la colazione eccellente. vicinissimo anche a marken ( un posto eccezzionale). lo consiglio vivamente. la casa è assolutamente in mezzo ai due canali... al mattino ti svegli e dalle finestre sei circondata dall'acqua

Ligging van de "Lake House" is uniek;
prachtig uitzichten.!!
Het huis zelf is heel aangenaam,ruim en sfeervol ingericht met heel veel aandacht voor details,ook voor de kleintjes..
Onbijt is heerlijk en zeer uitgebreid,je voelt je echt verwent..
De gastheer en vrouw zijn heel hartelijk en gaven ons een welkom gevoel..
Zal zeker nog een keer terug komen.. ;-)

Misschien idee om ook stripje te plaatsen op het trapje in het halletje;paar keer bijna uit gegleden(op sokken)

Helemaal top!
We gaan niet te positief doen anders zit het zo vol dat we zelf niet meer kunnen boeken. Ofwel, we komen zeker terug. Dit is het leukste, beste,mooiste bed and breakfast waar we ooit zijn geweest.

Colazione davvero fenomenale : uova fresche delle galline della casa , marmellate di ogni tipo ,pane caldo,cornetti caldi,yogurt fatto in casa con frutta fresca di stagione,cereali,spremuta di arance e.....chi più ne ha più ne metta!! I padroni di casa due persone fantastiche difficili da incontrare!La casa tutta in legno spaziosa,ricca di luce che penetra dalle numerose finestre sul tetto che rendono l'interno caldo e accogliente.Il panorama per chi ama la natura è favoloso e la calma regna sovrana........un'esperienza irripetibile!

Un piccolo ristorante tipico nel paese farebbe da ciliegina sulla torta.......... se proprio vogliamo trovare un difetto.

een heerlijk sfeervol en zeer compleet appartement op de mooiste plaats van Nederland. Wij hadden geen mooi weer maar hadden toch met gemak dagen kunnen blijven in de comfortabele van alle gemakken voorziene woonkamer.

Prachtig appartement in Uitdam met uitzicht op meer en IJsselmeer. Geweldige eigenaren die ook nog een heerlijk ontbijt maken met werkelijk alles erop en eraan en dan nog meer! Dit alles in Uitdam waar je heerlijk kunt fietsen naar Monnickendam, Holysloot etc. En maar een half uurtje voor je in het centrum van Amsterdam staat.
