The Old Bakkery was build in 1880. The combination bakery/steading kept his function till 1952. In 2004 the owners rebuild it in the original way. You still discover monumental elements. The second floor from the haybarn, next to the steading, is the B&B.
The owners are a married couple, who live with their (partly domestic)animals in freedom in a typical dutch "polder" ; -3,5 meter below sea level. Surrounded by windmills, channels and tulips in the springtime. They enjoy to give their guests a warm and open welcome in a good atmosphere.
The cosy B&B has a living room/kitchen, tv/music, bathroom, double bed, terras and a lot of space outside. From the second floor the view over the "polder" with animals is beautiful.
Authentic Dutch town and city in the neighbourhood: Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Volendam, Egmond (beach), Texel (island).
A perfect location to start a tour on the bicyle. Rent a bike and tour information is available.

The hosts have a great hospitality and are very nice. The accomodation in the great cottage is located in the huge garden. Plus the many, lovely animals, it gives this B&B a relaxing atmosphere.

Ongelooflijk maar de zogenaamde brabantse gezelligheid gevonden in Noord Holland. Deze mensen zijn pas bezig met B&B maar wij denken dat andere B&B's heel goed voor de dag moeten komen om dit te overtreffen. Supergastvrije eigenaren dit het op alle punten goed, netjes en compleet voor elkaar hebben. Hier gaan wij zeker terugkomen.

Landelijk en rustig gelegen met een wijds uitzicht vanuit de kapberg.
Een hele beestenboel duiven, kippen, geiten en zelfs 4 ezels.

het logeren in de vrijliggende zgn. Kapberg gaf een heerlijk vrij gevoel met een schitterend wijds uitzicht op polderlandschap. De gastvrijheid van de bewoners en de verzorging was uitmuntend. Zeer aan te bevelen vooral ook voor ieder die van dieren houd want die waren volop op deze verbouwde boerderij aanwezig.

De ruimte is praktisch ingedeeld en van alle gemakken voorzien. De eigenaren zijn heel gastvrij. Er is een prachtige tuin met dieren, waarop je uitkijkt. De Ouwe Bakkerai ligt centraal van alle omliggende leuke dorpjes en steden.Hierdoor goed bereikbaar. Kortom het is een ideaal verblijf als je de omgeving van Noord-Holland wilt verkennen!
