Picturesque Monumental 4 Bedroom 18 Century restored Vakwerk huis (1752). Located in South Limburg hills and nestled between beautiful historical villages, walking distance from Three Country Point. Conveniently located near Maastricht and Heerlen and Aachen Germany. You will enjoy our excellent location at the edge of the Vijlerbos to walk, run or cycle! Access to nature, history, hiking, cycling. ‘The Raren’ has, a private mature and always beautiful garden, as well as fantastic views. Offering a warm, charming atmosphere in a home full of character where individuals or groups can comfortably sleep. Full amenities including: Sauna year round and in season, a Swimming Pool. The rooms are warm, cozy clean and sunny with individual ambience and wireless internet access.

Zeer gastvrij. Leuke eigenaren. Geven je een thuis gevoel. Vinden het harstikke leuk om mensen om zich heen te hebben. Mooie omgeving voor veel wandel en fietsplezier. Twee bezige mannen, maar met altijd tijd voor hun gasten. Wij zullen e.e.a. ook aanbevelen aan onze vriendenkring. Wij zelf komen zeker nog terug.
For improvement
Stukje hygiene. Niet dat het vies was, maar hier en daar hing er nog wel eens een spinnenwebje. Stof e.d. niet aangetroffen. Hiervoor zullen wij echter niet wegblijven, omdat al het andere dit kleine puntje meer dan goed maken.

Ad & Lenny were phenomenal hosts, constantly offering tastes from their generous garden, the use of their bikes, pool, sauna, and more. Very friendly and full of information about Vaals and the walking/hiking opportunities in the area. Their converted farm house home had generous space for b&b visitors.
For improvement
My husband found the bed a little hard, but it's hard to complain with the solid mattress (instead of the typical split one). We loved their dogs, but be aware that they do have a chocolate lab.
