In één van de meest karakteristieke panden van het historische stadje Veere is vanaf 1 september 2010 “Bed & Brood” geopend.
Bed & Brood is een luxe bed & breakfast met ruime, verrassende kamers. We bieden u in het monumentale “Godshuis – 1819” een unieke combinatie van de persoonlijke gastvrijheid van een Bed & Breakfast met alle comfort van een hotel.

Bed & Brood is gevestigd in de Kerkstraat in het hartje van Veere, waar altijd vele activiteiten en bezienswaardigheden zijn. Door de rustige ligging en de enorm grote tuin is Bed & Brood de ideale bestemming voor gasten die een combinatie van stad en buitenleven zoeken.

De inrichting is met zorg uitgezocht om uitstraling te geven aan het oude monumentale en het huidige design, oud en nieuw ontmoeten elkaar in het pand dat deels in 1403 gebouwd is. Vele karakteristieke elementen uit de periode dat het gebouw diende als Godshuis en Gemeente Secretarie zijn bewaard gebleven.

Prachtig en verzorgde bed and breakfast.

Ontvangst vriendelijk maar geen welkoms drankje of iets anders. maakte het heel zakelijk meer hotel idee.
geen ontbijtservice wegens aanwezige grote groep, was begrijpelijk maar was toch jammer. had ook met een gebaar op de kamer verzorgd kunnen worden.

Plankje/rekje in doucheruimte zodat je shampoo/ douchegel niet op de grond hoeft te staan als je onder de douche staat.

On a business case I think the price is supportable but as a customer I think its a little high.

Warm welcome, voucher for welcome drink in nearby "de peepermolen" where welcome was also very nice, great breakfast which was included. free WiFi, good beds in wonderful room. Decorations are very nicely done with respect of the history of the place. Possibility to rent bikes. Very nice people!

For improvement
There is nothing at this moment I could recommend for improval. Maybe the fact that some people take the coffee-jar to their table could make coffee shortage at a busy breakfast moment could be taken into consideration but this is really looking for something to say about improvement. Our stay was a very positive experience!
