Here you are welcome in a well appointed cottages with your own idyllic beach house cottage enjoing nature.
The 'WaddenRoos Lauwersmeer' in the lovely Vierhuizen enjoys a unique location with panoramic views.
Here you see the dikes, the lighthouse light of Schiermonnikoog and you can smell the salty sea.
The cottage is only 2 km from the Lauwersmeer National Park and just 4 miles from the marshes and the Wadden Sea.
The F10, LF 14, The Wadden Sea route, the Saksen route and by the WaddenRoute en Wierdenpad you will walk along Wierdenpad our location.
The long distance cycle route, part of the North Sea Cycle Route passes Vierhuizen only 2 kilometers.
The picturesque villages such as Zoutkamp with its harbor, and Ulrum Pieterburen are cycling and walking away.
For a day to Schiermonnikoog away by car within 20 minutes for the crossing in Lauwersoog.
And for a nice culture change you can reach the beautiful capital city of Groningen in half an hour.

Positive Experiences
Ik voelde mij zeer welkom in De Waddenroos en genoot erg van de sfeer in het huisje en de rust en ruimte van Groningen. Het ontbijt was pure verwennerij.

For improvement
Het enige minpuntje is het ontbreken van een koelkast en magnetron / gasstelletje. Ik mocht wel spulletjes in de koelkast van de gastvrouwe zetten.
