Next to our farm, which is build in the end of the 19th century, there is a small stable, formerly used for growing up young cattle, which we transformed into an apartment. We call it ‘De Stâl.’ It is suitable for 4 persons. An extra bed is possible. We also made a bigger group-accommodation in our barn, which we call ‘De Heasouder’ suitable for 12 persons maximum. Our third apartment is called ´It Bûthus, this is made for 2~ 4 persons. The character of the places have been respected as much as possible, but everything has been accommodated in a way that staying for the night is very good possible and also comfortable. The apartments do have central heating, a kitchen and a bathroom. To stay in the former stables, or high in the barn, to awake between the cows so to speak, does it attract you?

Wij zochten een plek samen met onze kids (3,6) voor ontspanning en voor het maken van diverse trips in de omgeving. Hier waren wij dus aan het goede adres. Juist met kinderen was het fijn dat wij de tijd van aankomst en vertrek zelf mochten aangeven. Dat maakte het 'weekendje'-weg nog relaxter.

For improvement
Tijdens het 'eenvoudige' koken in het appartement kwamen wij hier en daar gereedschap te kort en waren deze hier en daar alleen voor 2 personen toegepast. Misschien even waard om te controleren.
Het 'besteld' ontbijt kan zeker nog lievdevoller en uitgebreider worden verzorgt, om de gast een nog beter en ontspannen verblijf te geven.

Jammer genoeg hadden we maar 1 overnachting geboekt want we hadden graag nog iets langer willen blijven. Wat een heerlijke rust in een prachtige omgeving. Ook gastvrouw Afke was erg gastvrij en vriendelijk. Wij gaan zeker nog een terug!
