Het Buytenhof, the Country Garden, is situated in the north-eastern part of the Netherlands, close to the border with Germany. The farmhouse dates back to 1906. The story has it that the cattle farm had to be built on a rise because it looked so much more stately. Farmers who came to deliver earth by horse cart to fill up the site were rewarded with a tot of Dutch gin. In this manner sufficient earth was collected to raise the area.

Hospitality and service come naturally to your hostess and host. Both graduated from one of the Netherlands

The Dars, a robust room with lots of morning light. Downstairs is a private bathroom and livingarea with kitchenette. On the firstfloor you will find a seperate bedroom.

Positive Experiences
Vriendelijk en gastvrij. Sfeervolle inrichting van kamer en ontbijkamer. Geweldige service door ons naar het vertekpunt van het Pieterpad te brengen.

For improvement
Wij vonden het creatieve 3-gangen ontbijt lekker, maar ons advies is tcch eerst te vragen of men dit ook lust!. Dit ook wat betreft het onbeperkte bijschenken van koffie!

Leuke sfeer prima bedden
heerlijk ontbeten prachtige omgeving rustige sfeer in deze brinkdorpjes.
ons zien ze hier zeker nog een keer terug.

Mooie, comfortabele kamer/appartementje. De boederij is omringt door een prachtige tuin. Heerlijk ontbijt. Simone is een goede en gezellige gastvrouw.

Zeer prettige ontvangst in een eersteklas accomodatie.

Een echte aanrader, niet in de laatste plaats vanwege de goddelijke bedden en het eersteklas ontbijt.

Simone en Henk zijn erg gastvrij. Het is was een bijzonder verblijf. Het ontbijt was fantastisch, met zorg bereid. Onze hond was mee en werd zelfs uitgelaten toen we een aantal uurtjes wegwaren. Raad het iedereen aan om daar te genieten van de rust en de mooie omgeving.

Een echte aanrader! Absoluut een ker heen gaan. Drenthe op zijn mooist. Erg gastvrij en mooi aangekleed. Heerlijk ontbijt. We hadden er wel voor altijd willen blijven..
