Reservations
How do I make a reservation?
To make a reservation, you always contact the bed & breakfast owner directly. You can do this in two ways:
- Go to the presentation page of the B&B and click 'Make a reservation'. You can now fill out the reservation request form and make a request without obligations.
- If there is a telephone number mentioned, you can call the B&B.
A reservation is not definite until it has been confirmed by both you and the B&B owner.
I have not yet received an answer to my reservation request.
Bedandbreakfast.nl doesn't mediate in reservations. B&B owners are responsible for the handling of reservation requests themselves. It is possible that your reservation request escaped the attention of the B&B owner or that something else has gone wrong. We recommend the following:
- Check the spam or unwanted e-mail folder in your e-mail program. It is possible that the answer of the B&B owner accidentally ended up in this folder.
- Try to reach the B&B by telephone. Often, the telephone number is mentioned on the presentation page.
- If this doesn't help, we advice you to make a request at another B&B.
Rates
What is included in the price?
The rates are based on two persons per night, including breakfast and tourist tax, unless otherwise defined by the owner.
Do I need to make a downpayment?
This differs per B&B. The owner will inform you about a possible downpayment.
Cancelling
Can I cancel my reservation free of costs?
The rules for cancellation differ per accommodation. It is possible that the owner will request a cancellation fee. Please contact the B&B about the applying cancellation terms.
Reviews
How can I fill out a review?
When your reservation was made through Bedandbreakfast.nl, you will automatically receive an email after you return home. On the basis of this e-mail, you can write a review on Bedandbreakfast.nl.
I made a reservation through Bedandbreakfast.nl but I did not receive a review form. Why is that?
It is possible that you made a reservation with the B&B owner by telephone, or that the B&B owner corresponded with your outside our system. It is then possible that your reservation was not registered in our system. In this case you will not receive a review form.
Which guide lines does a review have to meet?
Guest reviews are highly appreciated. Please respect the following guide lines when writing a review:
- Only write a review if you actually spent the night in the B&B concerned.
- Don't just give grades, but further define your review as well.
- Anonymous reviews or reviews that are placed under a false name can be removed.
- The B&B owner or other stakeholders are excluded from participation.
- Obscene language, discriminating and offending texts, advertisements, incorrect or deliberatelly damaging information are not allowed.
Bedandbreakfast.nl has the right to alternate or remove reviews that do not meet the guide lines without further explenation.

Google Street View
What is Google Street View?
With Google Street View you can explore cities and villages all over the world with panoramic images on street level, from behind your computer. Bedandbreakfast.nl shows Google Street View (if available) with the location information about B&B accommodations.
How does Google Street View work?
With many B&B’s, a picture of a street is displayed with the location information. That picture is made by Google Street View. You can click various spots in the picture and that way you can virtually explore the street of the bed & breakfast.
