My daughter and i stayed 2 nights. We found Ellie and Frans to be a welcoming freindly couple and the B&B was very handily located a short walk from the train station and the city centre. Frans carried our suitcases up and down the stairs to our attic room which was an unexpected bonus. The Continental breakfast was plentiful and delicious and there was also free wi-fi in the room which wasn't even advertised. Difinitely a good place to stay.

This was my favourite bed and breakfast in the Netherlands. It is in a quiet street and we could park the car right outside. It is also really convenient for getting to the centre of Leiden; by bike it is just 3 minutes away. In the other direction is a small park/nature reserve, windmill, etc.
Our hosts were friendly and also gave helpful directions to find the way. The breakfast was particularly good.

Be prepared for steep stairs up 2 floors to the rooms. That is the nature of the house. Ellie insisted on hiking one of our large rolling suitcases up the stairs. I was impressed.

I would love to stay at this B&B again. The breakfast was generous, and the hosts very helpful. The B&B is very close to the train station and downtown Leiden.

Wow, what an amazing find in Leiden! All the hotels in town are horribly overpriced, but this was a steal! Very nice rooms with all the amenities of an expensive hotel and a fabulous breakfast every morning. I've recommended that all my friends in Leiden send guests here when they visit.

Tiny tiny caveat- the room with the double-bed suffers from the slanted ceilings common in upper storey rooms in Dutch houses. This seems to make the room feel smaller because the ceiling drops very low on one side, but just look at it as character and then it becomes a plus +!

Wow, what an amazing find in Leiden! All the hotels in town are horribly overpriced, but this was a steal! Very nice rooms with all the amenities of an expensive hotel and a fabulous breakfast every morning. I've recommended that all my friends in Leiden send guests here when they visit.
