Bed-and-Breakfast “The Old Forge” is located in the little village of Wijnjewoude in the Frysian Woods. It is a luxurious facility, excisting of a spaceous living-room and kitchen, a large master bedroom and well equiped bathroom. The B&B has its own entry en our guests can use their own private garden with the possibility to charge e-bikes. Renting an e-bike is also possible, please let us know in advance.

A private parking-space is available as well as Wifi and TV.

Wijnjewoude is locate...d in the Frysian countryside , but it’s also in the direct vicinity of a number of large city’s such as Groningen, Leeuwarden, Assen and Heerenveen. By car, the city of Drachten can be reached within ten minutes. Nearby you will find some breathtaking nature in the likes of woods an heathlands. Perfectly suitable for long hikes and cycling. Wijnjewoude is surrounded by a number of very cute and cosy little villages where it’s a joy to do some shopping or visit one of the many great restaurants.
