The cottage is just right for a couple or single. It was well stocked,... clean and comfortable. Anrik and Carla were great hosts, and were very patient...answering all our questions and helping us with maps and many other requests! Just a great experience. The neighborhood is an excellent break from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. Lovely getaway.

We loved staying here! It was a quaint cottage in a small town. The sleeping... was comfortable and the home was welcoming. It had everything we needed and the owner, Anrik, was very helpful. We loved taking the bikes for a country ride to Holysloot or just to the market. The restaurant in the market was delicious! Even though we were constantly on the go, we were blessed to come back to such a beautiful area and place to call home.

My partner and I stayed in Amsterdam-Noord in a lovely garden house.... The accommodation was perfect for us, as it is modern, comfortable, with all the necessary amenities to cook breakfast before a busy day exploring Amsterdam. Our host Anrik was great! He provided us with maps and gave us really useful tips. We loved the local organic food market Landmarkt nearby and Holyboot trip by silent boat to Broek in Waterland. Amsterdam-Noord is worth exploring if you are after authentic experiences!

Bed & Bike Amsterdam was an ideal location for us. Quite, private... and with many transportation options available, Bed & Bike was a great choice for our visit to Amsterdam. Anrik Engelhard is a very kind and thoughtful host and provided us with information and suggestions on what to see and do in the area. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Additional towels in the bathroom would be welcome.

We enjoyed this charming place just north of the city. The hosts were... extremely helpful and knowledgable. Having use of their bikes made it easy to ride the 5 Km (or so) to catch the 5 minute ferry to Centraal Station. The countryside just north was beautiful (ride to Broek in Waterland!!). A few meters away is a running/walking path along the waterway. The hosts provided some refreshments, which were welcomed and a nearby store was helpful too.
Nothing really needs improving, but I would mention to other Americans that European bathrooms tend to have smaller fixtures (such as sinks), as we found here.
