Na de hartelijke ontvangst en het uitladen van de spullen in ons gastenhuis, installeerden ze zich en namen plaats in de zon. Hier ze genoten van de prosecco die ik hen had aangeboden, het vrolijke vogelgezang en de eerste echte lentestralen.<\/p>\n

Het is niet verantwoord om een halve dag weg te gaan en de dames dan alleen buiten te laten. Je weet immers nooit wat er kan gebeuren<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Niet veel later arriveerde er ook een ander stel bij ons tweede gastenverblijf, eveneens toe aan een zorgeloos weekendje weg. Ook zij genoten van een glas prosecco en het vrolijke vogelgezang onder de lentezon. Het leven kan soms z\u00f3 eenvoudig mooi zijn \u2013 iets wat nog eens vrolijk werd onderstreept door de aanwezigheid van Kakelies, Kakelotte en Kakelijne: onze drie kippen die vrij rondscharrelen op het erf. Nieuwsgierig als altijd kwamen ze even buurten bij de gasten, want je weet maar nooit of er iets lekkers te halen valt.<\/p>\n

De volgende ochtend vertelde ik het stel uit ons tweede gastenverblijf dat ‘de dames’ die ochtend binnen moesten blijven: “Het is niet verantwoord om een halve dag weg te gaan en de dames dan alleen buiten te laten. Je weet immers nooit wat er kan gebeuren”. Ik vertelde overigens ook dat de dames na mijn terugkomst gewoon weer hun gang konden gaan.<\/p>\n

Zo gezegd, zo gedaan. In de middag kregen de dames weer toestemming om naar buiten te gaan. Toen vervolgens het stel uit het tweede gastenhuis voorbij liep, vertelde ik dat de dames zich weer buiten bevonden. Er viel een korte stilte, waarna ze heel voorzichtig vroegen om welke dames het nou precies ging. Ik antwoorde “Nou, Kakelies, Kakelotte en Kakelijne natuurlijk!”<\/p>\n

Het stel barstte in lachen uit. Ze hadden mijn opmerking die ochtend helemaal anders begrepen, ze dachten dat het over de twee vriendinnen uit het andere gastenhuis ging. Toen zij de twee dames ‘s ochtends zagen vertrekken voor een wandeling, stonden ze voor een dilemma: moesten ze de vriendinnen terugfluiten \u00f3f niets zeggen? Ze kozen voor het laatste. Gelukkig maar, want probeer dat maar eens uit te leggen aan je gasten!<\/p>\n

Eindelijk was het zover: twee vriendinnen hadden zich al geruime tijd verheugd op hun vriendinnenweekend zonder mannen en kinderen. Boordevol plannen en met mooi lenteweer in het vooruitzicht, kwamen zij na een voorspoedige reis aan bij Landgoed Driebelterveld.
