Vreemd is dat niet, want het park is geliefd bij vele bezoekers uit binnen- \u00e9n buitenland. De aanwezigheid van het wereldberoemde Kr\u00f6ller-M\u00fcller Museum draagt daar absoluut aan bij; kunst en natuur lopen naadloos in elkaar over. Het ene moment raak je betovert door het magische landschap met edelherten en ree\u00ebn, terwijl je het andere moment oog in oog staat met de kunstwerken van Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso en Piet Mondriaan. Daarnaast biedt dit\u00a0natuurgebied volop mogelijkheden voor wandelaars en fietsers, maar je bent hier ook aan het juiste adres om lepelaars en andere vogels te spotten. Andere aanraders: aanschouw de zonsopkomst, ga mee op excursie of verwonder je &#8216;s nachts over de heldere sterrenhemel boven het eiland. Het natuurgebied strekt zich uit van de Grebbeberg tot aan het Gooimeer bij Huizen, dus neem vooral je fiets mee of trek je beste wandelschoenen aan tijdens een bezoek. Het gebied is bezaaid met sprookjesachtige kastelen, imposante buitenhuizen en pittoreske dorpjes, waardoor er een mooie mix is ontstaan tussen natuur en cultuur. Daarnaast tref je in dit park ook sporen aan van de vroegste menselijke bewoning en het militaire verleden van Nederland. Het heidegebied wordt in conditie gehouden door maar liefst twee schaapskudden met herder en er zijn diverse fiets- en wandelpaden. Bezoekers die slecht ter been zijn kunnen terecht op de gehandicaptenpaden, waardoor het voor iedereen mogelijk is om te genieten van al het natuurschoon. Op zoek naar een extra bijzondere ervaring? Met maar liefst dertig vierkante kilometer aan stuifzand, weet het natuurgebied je iedere keer te verrassen met een nieuw voorkomen. Extra fraai zijn de ondergestoven bomen, waarvan alleen nog hun kruinen boven de zandheuvels uitsteken. Het landschap leent zich goed om lekker door te struinen en wordt afgewisseld met heide en bossen.
