The Heidestroper is named after my grandfather who, after the 2nd World War because of the food shortage, came to this area in particular for hares and rabbits. It is very special to me that I came to live here 60 years later. The area behind the Heidestroper is ideal for walks and to go out by bike (mountain bike). Located against the Stratumse heide with, among others, the Kanunnikensven and Rietven. The Stratumse heide is directly connected to the Groote Heide, and Leenderheide, which provides hours of walking and cycling pleasure.
The Heidestroper is within cycling distance (15 minutes) from Eindhoven center (from Abbemuseum, Stratum's end). Bus 12 stops in the street (till 6 PM), there are rental scooters in the street and we also rent bikes.
Near the exit roads to Maastricht, Venlo, Den Bosch and Eindhoven airport.
Supermarkets and eateries can be found within a radius of 1.5 km.
