The B&B is located in the former main living room of the rectory, dating from 1863, where the vicar lived for almost 160 years. The room still has many authentic details. Parking is on private property. There is a charging station for charging an electric car. The B&B has a private entrance and features a separate toilet and a modern bathroom with rain shower and sink. The room has a sitting area, whose sofa can also serve as a 3rd bed, a dining area and a kitchenette The sleeping area has two 80x200 cm box-spring beds. Witmarsum is located in the triangle of the historic Elfsteden Bolsward, Franeker and Harlingen. The latter city is also the departure point for the Wadden Islands Vlierland and Terschelling. The B&B is located at the back on the Witmarsumervaart, part of the Eleven Cities Route, and at the front on the Golden Neck, an ingeniously constructed historical dike system. Witmarsum is known as the birthplace of church reformer Menno Simons (Mennonites).
