Our new holiday home Oud Honswijk is located in the outskirts of Schalkwijk. From the holiday home you overlook our meadow where 2 horses graze in summer. In our yard there is an orchard with various fruit varieties. For our guests, there is free use of the fruit during harvest. There are 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and from that bedroom you enter a smaller bedroom with a stackable bed. This bed can be split into 2 single beds. Oud Honswijk is located in the area of the New Dutch Waterline. Schalkwijk is a ribbon village with narrow bridges and old farms. From the holiday home, you can walk straight to the Lek river with its beautiful floodplains and polder land. Fort Honswijk is at cycling distance. There are many beautiful cycling and walking routes nearby. Two clog paths start in Schalkwijk. The Honswijkerplas with sandy beach and swimming water is nearby.
