In the middle of the Kaapse bossen, between the villages of Doorn and Leersum, lies B&B Darthuizerpoort. You drive up the unpaved forest path and after 1 km past rustling trees, maybe a roe deer or an impressive buzzard, you arrive at a detached forest house with 2 B&B rooms. Here you will almost automatically come to rest and relax and enjoy yourself. Directly from your room, you can walk or cycle in this beautiful natural park ‘Utrechtse Heuvelrug’. Discover how special this area of forests, heathland, lateral moraine, floodplains and Leersumse Plassen is, alternating with country houses, castles and estates. Breakfast with regional products is served in the breakfast room, where you can also enjoy a book and a glass of wine in the evening. Of course, you can make coffee and tea during your stay. In winter you can light the wood-burning stove. Both rooms have a private shower and toilet and a private terrace; room 2 has an extra bath. The forest house is for 1-4 pers.
