B&B Unia Zathe is a listed building. The former head-neck-trunk farmhouse from 1815 has been converted into several accommodations. We, Marja and Arthur, took it over in February 2026 from Cor and Ron, who ran it with great pleasure and passion for 22 years. Unia Zathe has a holiday home, a (wheelchair-friendly) apartment with a kitchen, two B&B rooms equipped with a cozy sitting area and coffee/ tea facilities, among other things. Do you enjoy peace and space? Then you have come to the right place. 15 km from the ferry to Ameland or Schiermonnikoog, the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea, and Lauwersmeer National Park within cycling distance. The cities of Dokkum, Leeuwarden, or Groningen are beautiful to visit, with various museums, restaurants, and nightlife options.
