A nice place for nature-lovers and rest-seekers, but also more active holidays in this part of Friesland is very well possible. Kubaard is located in between the old cities of Franeker, Harlingen, Sneek, Leeuwarden and Bolsward, lies between the wadden sea and the frisian lakes, and is surrounded by other quiet small villages. Nice bike-routes and walking-routes are starting right at our front door. You can rent a bike , go Sailing on the famous frisian lakes or attend Glass Art Workshops in our village
